Also, how long do you give yourself postpartum before you start skiing? :) I know you’re one year out, but that’s just a nice inspiration for me.

And I really don't push myself postpartum. I've had some healing to do with the last few babies, and I'm over 40 now. Of course the weather and snow conditions affect whether I ski. But if I feel good and can get away from the baby reliably for about two hours, then around eight weeks postpartum usually works. That's more for the outside time than anything else, and I'm basically shuffling my feet and not working hard. Just going for a walk is easier, and I usually default to that. But it is pretty great to get out there on the snow.
